neighborhood | san jose, ca
Referred to as Cambrian Park, stemming from the historical isolation of populous regions as defined by their dominant school districts in the area, this San Jose neighborhood continues to be recognized as a partial unincorporated neighborhood bordering San Jose, Campbell and Los Gatos.
Geographically, Cambrian Park is located in the southern end of Santa Clara County, in which, a portion of its territory is often considered an "county island" of Santa Clara within the San Jose city limits.
Historically, Union and Cambrian schools have defined the neighborhood, and the term was continuously used by local newspapers during the 1950's.
Notable structures and commerce in the neighborhood include the Cambrian Park Plaza, with iconic colorful carousel atop the center sign at the crossroads of Camden and Union Avenues.
We are proud to serve the current and prospective residents of this wonderful community.
