Located in the southeastern region of the greater San Francisco Bay Area in the East Bay is one of the top populous and often largest suburban development in the immediate metropolitan area - the city of Fremont. Often linked to its neighboring cities Union City, Newark and Milpitas, Fremont was the outcome of a historical merger of five smaller, individual communities found in the area which included Centerville, Niles, Irvington, Mission San Jose and Warm Springs at the time. Currently, Newark, Fremont and Union City make up what is commonly referred to as the 'Tri-City area'.
Geographically, Fremont is nested between the rolling hills of the East Bay and the baylands which is an open space often linked with the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Currently, its regions are divided into strategically planned developments by direction referred to as Central, North Fremont, South Fremont and Bayside districts per community development within the city.
The city of Fremont was named after the American Explorer John C. Fremont. Historically, the industrialization of Fremont's economy in the early 1950's through the 1960's along with the technology boom and expansion during the 1980's and 1990's caused a rapid influx of population as well as the development and expansion of its residential neighborhoods, city infrastructure and its commercial and tech industry.
Notable companies that currently oversee operations based in Fremont include Tesla Motors and Seagate Technology, and others headquartered in the city include Lam Research, Volterra, Oplink Communications and more. Similar to the status of the city of Milpitas to the South Bay region, the suburban status of Fremont links it both to the Silicon Valley and the East Bay of San Francisco.
We are proud to serve the prospective and existing residents of the city of Fremont.
